It follows three very different families who compete for the same 1920s Spanish-style mansion that they believe will solve all their problems. Denis Leary and Ray Romano appeared in the Ice Age franchise (2002-present). Slow burn, but my review isn’t based on that alone, but overall it’s not a great or bad series. There were moments where it felt like a comedy (or a dry comedy) about selling a house, rather than turning into something else. There were no missteps, no plot twists that left you feeling unsatisfied, but maybe it was the script or director who didn’t bring a stronger story to the screen. The last few episodes were actually good. There’s a whole bunch of new movies and TV shows streaming on Netflix this month.
